Dear Parent/Guardians of the Class of 2027,

My name is Samantha Stafinski, and I am the yearbook advisor for 2026-2027. We want to remind you about senior portraits and share further information about dates and photography options.  

To be included in the senior section of the yearbook, your child must have a professional portrait taken by a professional photographer.  Penny Lynn Photography has been our contracted photographer for the past 14 years. She is familiar with the specifics regarding the requirements. If you choose to hire Penny-Lynn Photography, there is no need to worry about the requirements, as all of her images are consistent and meet yearbook requirements. She will also take care of submitting the photo to the yearbook. The two documents attached here provide information about her senior portrait sessions, yearbook photo-only sessions, costs, and deadlines. 

If you choose to use an outside photographer, the deadline to submit your yearbook photo is October 16, 2026.

Senior Portrait Requirements:

  • Students must be photographed by a professional photographer.

  • Professional attire is expected, as these images will be displayed in the yearbook. 

  • A grayish/blue portrait background must be used. 

  • The image should be waist up (no full-length photos).

Submission Requirements:

  • Formal portrait (no candid, school pictures, Snapchats, or amateur photos).

  • Digital file submission only.

  • Size 5x7, 300 DPI resolution image, labeled with the student’s name.

  • The images must be in color (no black, white, or tinted images) and vertical (no horizontal) photos. 

If all requirements are not met, the photo may be excluded from the yearbook.
