AI
Things to remember
The landscape of Artificial Intelligence is changing at an astonishing speed, requiring continuous professional awareness as new tools and capabilities emerge almost daily. Please help us stay informed about new AI tools and always vet them against district data privacy policies, as not all platforms are designed to be safe or compliant for use with students.
Teachers always have the final say as to whether AI tools are allowed for use in their class. Communicating expectations is key.
-
Many edtech tools are incorporating AI. Any approved application that adds AI is safe to use.
-
Learning applications that have been "Trusted" and approved for use in Millbury by the SDPC can be found here.
-
We want all the tools that teachers want to use in the classroom. If there is a tool that provides reasonable safeguards and is willing to sign a data privacy agreement with the district, we can expedite its approval. Please reach out to tech@millburyschools.org and let us know what you would like to use.
