Good afternoon and happy Friday!

As the semester comes to an end and we reach the halfway mark of the 2025-2026 school year, I wanted to reach out and provide a quick update to parents and a reminder for students. 

As discussed at the class meetings, there will be a new pass system for students to eat lunch in an alternative space starting Tuesday January 20th. Students will be required to get a physical pass from staff to eat lunch in their space for a specific day. Students can get passes from staff before school, after school, during flex block, etc. Students should not be getting passes during times of class instruction. Students have the ability to plan ahead and get passes for an alternative space days ahead of time (ex. get a pass from staff on Monday to eat lunch in the alternative space on Thursday). 

Staff in the cafeteria will be asking to see passes from students before they leave to go to an alternative space. If students go to a space without a pass, staff will redirect them to the cafeteria. Students with specific individual plans can be accommodated.
