FY 2025 Budget

The following FY 2025 Budget documents are listed in the order that they are released to the public. The more recent documents are listed at the bottom of this section. Please feel free to review the budget documents and if you have any trouble downloading the material you may contact the MPS Business Office, 508-865-9501, and request a copy be sent you. The FY 2025 School Budget Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 7PM at the Millbury High School Media Center. The School Committee will vote on the budget at a separate meeting held later that evening.

The first draft of the FY 2025 School Operating Budget will be presented to the School Committee on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 7:00PM at the Millbury Jr./Sr. High School Media Center, 12 Martin Street, Millbury, MA at the regular scheduled School Committee meeting.

After the FY 2025 School Operating Budget Public Hearing and then subsequent School Committee Meeting on February 28, 2024, the School Committee approved the following items:

At the March 13, 2024 School Committee meeting, upon recommendation from the School Administration and meetings with the town financial  leaders, the School Committee approved reducing the overall budget by $100,000.

At the March 27, 2024 School Committee meeting, upon recommendation from the School Administration and meetings with the town financial  leaders, the School Committee approved reducing the overall budget by an additional $70,000.

The School Committee also approved the two Warrant Articles listed above. One is for Technology and the second is  for a new fire notification panel  at Elmwood Street  School.
